The requirementsand rules about the preliminary contest are as follows:
比赛规则
由于本届比赛与挑战杯紧密结合，比赛内容较以往有较大的创新性和专业性，不但考察主持人具备专业技能，更要求主持人具有杰出的双语能力。因此，参赛选手须掌握一定的英语口语能力，请做好充分的准备。
Since the competition is closely linked with The Challenge Cup, the content will put more emphasis on innovation and specialty than before, which not only examines the presenter's professional skills, but it also demands outstanding bilingual skills.
Therefore, competitors are required to have a good command of oral English , please be thoroughly prepared.
自我介绍self introduction
时长不超过两分钟的自我介绍，一遍中文一遍英文（内容可不同，不要求完全翻译），富有自我特色。
A characteristicself introduction in both Chinese and English, within 2 minutes. (Complete translation is not necessary , the two visions can be different.)
话题讲解topic illustration
选手现场随机从所给热点话题中抽取一个，30秒的准备时间过后，根据所给话题自由发挥，时间不超过3分钟。
A hot topic will be randomly given to the competitors, and competitors are required to give aspeech according to the topic after 30-second preparation. The speech should be finished within 3 minutes.

现场报名：错过线上报名的同学可于比赛当天现场报名后直接参赛
初赛时间：2017年4月13日中午场10:00-14:00、晚间场18:00-20:00
地点：南区吾馨楼308室
